The Kerry’s Kamp logo exemplifies Kerry’s laidback nature and musicality. The symbol is reminiscent of sound waves, and forms an abstract shape of a ‘K’. The custom letterforms were crafted to match the symbol, and the guitar pick apostrophe is a subtle but noticeable nod to the focus of Kerry’s Kamp.

Challenge

Kerry’s Kamp is an online learning platform for aspiring guitarists seeking to master genres like R&B, gospel, CCM, neo-soul, and pop. Centred around the guidance of founder and master guitarist Kerry ‘2 Smooth’, the platform offers personalized learning pathways, live coaching, a rich learning library, and community support to help musicians elevate their skills. While the content and strategy behind Kerry’s Kamp were strong, the previous website lacked the world-class design and cohesive brand identity needed to reflect its 
growing stature.

When Atom Studio joined the project, Kerry’s Kamp faced several challenges. They had no existing logo, professional photography, or clear brand identity – just a bootstrapped website that relied on great content but fell short in design. The goal was to create a bold, expressive visual identity and an intuitive, motion-rich website that not only showcased 
the platform’s personality but also resonated with its 
diverse audience.

Result

Our process began by helping the team clarify the brand personality, settling on three key traits: expressive and soulful, chill and laid-back, and innovative. This became the foundation for the new brand identity, which featured bold typography, bright colours, and candid photography with uplifting energy and positive expressions. The design needed to balance vibrancy and professionalism while feeling approachable to a wide audience.

The logo features a distinctive ‘double K’ symbol inspired by sound waves, capturing the brand’s musical essence. Designed for versatility, it works across digital and physical touchpoints like hats, shirts, and guitar picks. We also provided a detailed shot list and art direction to align the photos with the brand’s vision.

The new Webflow site uses movement, transitions, and video to create an engaging, immersive experience. Built with a CMS, it’s fully editable for easy updates.

The results were transformative. Kerry’s Kamp now has a bold, cohesive brand identity and a website that not only aligns with its expressive personality but also elevates the brand to a professional level. The client has received significant positive feedback on the new design, and the site continues to engage its audience (and sell courses).
